2. LJ Scott will rush for over 150 yards

I’ll probably get called crazy for this one, but remember the days when predicting 100-yard games for LJ Scott wasn’t considered bold? Those were fun.

It’s been a few weeks since Scott has broken that barrier, last doing it against Minnesota in the second weekend of October. He finished with a career-high of 194 yards and two touchdowns on 25 carries and looked like a whole new running back.

Granted, the play-calling in that game was phenomenal. The pitch plays to the long side of the field worked like a gem as Scott was able to diagnose the flow of the defense and make his cuts accordingly. He’s much better when he’s out in space, but often gets clogged up at the line of scrimmage.

Against Maryland’s mediocre run defense, Scott is going to have himself a day. He will finally finish over 150 yards again — for the second time this season — with another couple of scores. He’ll average 7.6 yards per touch and have a big game like he did against the Terrapins last year.
