2. Miles Bridges must be more aggressive

This has been a common feeling around the fan base shortly after Tuesday night’s loss to the Blue Devils. Everyone watched as Grayson Allen took over the game at the end, scoring 37 points and making 7-of-11 threes, but Miles Bridges was not nearly as aggressive.

Allen was draining threes, making clutch shots and driving to the lane while, far too often, Bridges would hang out at the 3-point line and try to facilitate instead of create, or have things created for him. Cassius Winston is the facilitator, so Bridges needs to find a way to get open, make some backdoor cuts and even set himself up for alley-oops.

When he gets the ball, too, he should be looking to score with the game on the line. He’s the Spartans’ best player and there are going to be games this season in which he’s looked to for points down the stretch.

Sure, Bridges made some big 3-pointers late in the game and finished with 19 points, but he must be more aggressive when driving the lane and creating his own shots. That’s what he’s there to do.
