4. Cassius Winston, Nick Ward each record double-double

This game is going to be relatively high-scoring, in my estimation. How can a game against two national powers with 6-8 serious scoring options not be? The Spartans and the Blue Devils are going to both finish with over 70 points and the game will likely come down to the wire.

Heck, I wouldn’t be shocked if both scored over 80, but Tom Izzo’s defensive mindset won’t allow that to happen (famous last words).

With that being said, I do believe Cassius Winston and Nick Ward will finish with double-doubles. This is the type of game in which we might see 4-5 guys finish with double-doubles before it’s all said and done, keeping in mind stars like Marvin Bagley, Miles Bridges, Jaren Jackson Jr., Trevon Duval and Grayson Allen.

Winston was two assists shy of a double-double on Friday against North Florida and it seemed like he was stuck on eight for most of the second half. The team will need him to facilitate on Tuesday and he will crack 10 assists while also scoring 11 points.

Ward, on the other hand, only had a couple of rebounds, and Izzo was not pleased with that. He did score in double figures, which he will do on a regular basis, but his rebounding numbers were shockingly low. Izzo probably got in his ear after the game and said that should never happen again. It won’t on Tuesday. I’m going to say 13 points and 11 rebounds from Ward.
