1. The Jim Harbaugh effect

Jim Harbaugh is a great coach. Some would argue he should be 2-0 in this series, which is far better than the other Michigan coaches to face Mark Dantonio.

Harbaugh knows how to motivate and get the most out of his guys. He did this at San Diego, Stanford, and at the pro level in San Francisco. He has won on the big stage and has surrounded himself with some of the best assistant coaches in the country.

However, has struggled in the big game with Michigan. Losing twice to Ohio State and once to MSU as well as a loss to Florida State in the Orange Bowl. He has done what he has needed to do to put Michigan in the national spotlight as well as becoming a recruiting machine.

Michigan State was the big dog the last time they came to the Big House and it took a miracle for the Spartans to win. Michigan is talented and they have a solid coach.
