4. Josiah Scott records pick-six

The last time I predicted a Josiah Scott interception was before the Western Michigan game. And guess what? He picked off Jon Wassink in the first half, his first career interception for the Spartans. I’m going one step further with this one.

Against Nathan Stanley and Iowa’s growing offense, Scott is going to continue his hot streak by picking off the young gunslinger and returning the interception to the house for six. The pick-six will happen in the first half, giving the Spartans some early momentum while crushing Stanley’s confidence for the time being.

That won’t end any hope for the Hawkeyes, though, as they will rebound with a nice return on the ensuing kickoff to give them great field position.

Still, a pick-six for Scott will only give him more confidence as he grows into one of the Big Ten’s best cornerbacks. He has already proven himself, giving up the lowest passer rating to opposing quarterbacks through four weeks, but this is another level.
