Here’s how you can watch Saturday afternoon’s Michigan State vs Western Michigan game from East Lansing online.

Week 1 had its ups and downs for Michigan State and Western Michigan. However, one came away with a victory and the other was sent packing from the West Coast with a loss. Michigan State took down a hapless Bowling Green team and Western nearly upset USC.

This contest in East Lansing Saturday is expected to be a big one for both sides. Western Michigan won 13 games last season and made it to the Cotton Bowl while MSU went just 3-9. Neither team is nearly the same as they were a year ago, though.

Michigan State’s opener had some positives such as young receivers stepping up and Brian Lewerke showing he can be the future under center. It also had negatives, such as LJ Scott’s fumbles which came at the worst possible times.

For Western, the run defense was the major issue as well as the passing attack. Jon Wassink, the first-year starter at quarterback, struggled with his confidence. P.J. Fleck is no longer in town, but does that mean the Broncos are no longer contenders? Nope, Tim Lester is a solid coach.
