Former Michigan State star, and current Warrior, Draymond Green and MMA star Connor McGregor exchanged blows on Twitter Sunday.

The big Conor McGregor-Floyd Mayweather boxing match will be taking place next month, but it seems like everyone is taking sides for the epic fight. You’re either rooting for McGregor, an MMA star, or Mayweather Jr., one of the best boxers ever.

Athletes everywhere are also taking sides, including former Michigan State star Draymond Green who’s a big Mayweather Jr. supporter. He took exception to McGregor’s sporting of a No. 23 Warriors jersey.

Obviously, McGregor was just trying to troll Mayweather with a C.J. Watson jersey. Why is this trolling? Well, because Watson apparently had beef with Floyd over a significant other and McGregor, being the troll that he is, wore the jersey to get in Mayweather’s head.

Draymond, however, wasn’t having any of that. Even though it wasn’t his jersey, technically, he didn’t want to see McGregor sporting his team’s logo since he’s rooting for Mayweather Jr.

Things turned when Mayweather claimed he didn’t know who Draymond was, which was clearly just a troll job, and told him to stay in school and keep hustling. It seems as if Draymond got under the MMA star’s skin a little bit, but the beef is always entertaining.

Green fired back by saying that No. 23 will never be worn again by another Warrior because it will be hanging in the rafters following his retirement.
