Former Michigan State basketball star Bryn Forbes dropped 35 points for the second straight Spurs’ Summer League contest Tuesday.

There isn’t a hotter player in NBA Summer League action than former Michigan State star Bryn Forbes. Yes, you read that correctly, the former Spartan sharpshooter impressed yet again on Tuesday with his third 30-point performance in Summer League play.

For Michigan State fans, this hot streak comes as no surprise. Forbes could get hot in an instant and leave defenders shaking their heads because there’s no stopping him once he catches fire. You could throw two guys on him and he’d still drain contested jumpers and runners.

Well, 2017 Summer League action has been just like that for the second-year player. He went from undrafted to potential future star in just a year and it looks like he will have a spot on the active roster with plenty of playing time coming his way in 2017-18.

Check out the highlights from his second straight 35-point outing:

The Spurs beat Caleb Swanigan’s Trail Blazers for yet another win behind the hot shooting of Forbes. However, it’s not just his 3-point shot that’s turning heads, it’s also his ability to drive to the rack and either draw fouls or make an easy layup. His quickness and aggressiveness seems to have improved since his Michigan State days.

It’d be a pleasant surprise to see him star for the Spurs this season, but it’ll take a lot more work to impress head coach Gregg Popovich.
