1. Joey Hauser picks Michigan State

No, the Spartans don’t officially have a scholarship remaining for the 2018 class, but it’s widely assumed Miles Bridges will be heading to the NBA Draft following the season.

My original guy instinct was to guess Marquette here, but the Spartans’ recently hosted Hauser and from all accounts, it went extremely well. He could be the star at Marquette if he chooses the Golden Eagles, but I feel as if he got the winning, and family, vibe from Michigan State.

With the classes that Tom Izzo is bringing in, he could be a national, and Big Ten, champion during his first couple of years on campus — even if he decides to leave early.

Wisconsin is also a threat to land him, but I’m going the bold route and picking Michigan State to seal the deal with the four-star power forward who seems to be close to a decision. Did the visit to East Lansing put the Spartans out in front? I think so.
