Michigan State recruiting is standing out to four-star 2019 wide receiver David Bell from Indianapolis, Ind.

Believe it or not, it’s almost time for Michigan State recruiting to begin focusing on the 2019 class. It’s tough to even fathom how time has flown by like this, but Mark Dantonio and Co. have to start checking out who the top targets are in the class.

One such target happens to be four-star wide receiver David Bell from Indianapolis, Ind. His recruitment is starting to heat up and it won’t be too long before he’s hearing from just about every major school in the country.

According to Steve Wiltfong of 247Sports, Michigan State is standing out to Bell. In fact, the Spartans are one of four schools to be rising to the top for the four-star receiver from Indianapolis.

"“Right now Iowa, Notre Dame, Michigan State, Indiana also,” Bell said of those standing out."

What did he have to say about the Spartans, though?

"“I just like how the offense is a pro-style offense so they would prepare me for the NFL if I can get to that level. I plan on getting up there soon.”"

Michigan State offered the 6-foot-2, 185-pound receiver from Indiana on April 21, immediately making an impact on his recruitment. To jump into his top group after just a few weeks is a good sign and the Spartans must keep this momentum rolling.

Bell is ranked as the No. 1 player from the Hoosier State and No. 48 overall recruit in the class, according to 247Sports. He’s also the 11th-best receiver.
