Michigan State recruiting made the cut for three-star 2018 wide receiver Dallas Craddieth from Florissant, Mo.

Just a couple of days after making the top 12 of 2018 four-star running back Harold Joiner, Michigan State has made the same list of three-star wide out Dallas Craddieth.

Michigan State joins programs like Wisconsin, Illinois, Minnesota, Purdue and Iowa as the other Big Ten teams to make the cut. Missouri, Ole Miss, North Carolina, Kentucky, Vanderbilt and Iowa State also made his top 12.

The Spartans joined the process relatively late for Craddieth, offering him on April 20 — the last team on his trimmed list to extend an offer. Will the Missouri-native stay close to home, though? With most of his list consisting of Midwest programs, it looks that way.

Craddieth has excelled on both sides of the ball and that versatility has to be attractive for Mark Dantonio. He loves guys who can play both ways and Craddieth was a star in the defensive backfield as well as at receiver. His toughness is evident and he uses his knowledge as a receiver to excel on defense, and vice versa.

Does Michigan State stand a realistic shot? Although the Spartans got in late in his recruitment, he seems to like what he sees from the program right away. The 6-foot-1, 180-pound receiver would be a nice fit with his speed and elusiveness, adding another elite weapon to the offense. He’s ranked the No. 442 overall recruit in the 2018 class, according to 247Sports.
