Michigan State Recruiting: Spartans make top 10 for 3-star Dejmi Dumervil
Michigan State recruiting has made the top 10 of three-star defensive and offensive lineman Dejmi Dumervil.
The Spartans’ 2018 recruiting class is just starting to get off the ground, but there’s a long way to go until National Signing Day. Michigan State has been making an impression on some of the nation’s top uncommitted prospects, though.

Such is the case with three-star lineman Dejmi Dumervil from Fort Lauderdale, Fla. The 2018 prospect recently listed the Spartans in his top 10.
Louisville, Oregon, Kentucky, South Carolina, Illinois, Mississippi State, Rutgers, Maryland and Syracuse also made the cut for the Florida-native. The Spartans might have a decent shot to land him seeing as his St. Thomas Aquinas teammate, Lashawn Paulino-Bell, is headed to Michigan State as a freshman defensive end this fall.
Moreover, Paulino-Bell could potentially earn some early playing time, depending on his recoovery from a jet-ski accident. Mark Dantonio would love to build a pipeline from the prep school from Florida.
Louisville might be the team to beat for the 6-foot-4.5, 365-pound behemoth. He is quite the load to handle in the trenches and would be a nice versatile two-way threat for the Spartans.

Dantonio loves guys who can play both ways and Dumervil has the size to excel on the offensive line as well as at defensive tackle. He’s not yet ranked compositely, but he’s listed as a three-star prospect on 247Sports. The Spartans desperately need depth up front and this is the perfect guy to provide that.
