Michigan State recruiting extended an offer to four-star 2019 wide receiver Mycah Pittman from Westlake Village, Calif.

Mark Dantonio is searching for the next crop of receivers that will grace East Lansing with their presence. Earlier this week, Michigan State’s head coach extended a slew of offers to players at the position, including one to four-star 2019 wide out Mycah Pittman.

While the 2018 class is top priority right now, looking ahead to 2019 and being prepared never hurts. That is, especially when the receiver who was offered in 2019 is one of the 50 best recruits in his class.

Getting in Pittman’s recruitment early on may help the Spartans as kids usually remember who was there first. He currently holds seven offers, the biggest from USC, followed by Colorado, Oregon State, Fresno State, Hawaii and Boston College. The Spartans will have to fend off the home-state favorite Trojans.

Pittman is just 6-foot-0, 195 pounds, but he runs some of the best routes you’ll see from a high school receiver. He’s got a quick first step and is deceptive with his cuts. He also exhibits strong hands and tremendous concentration. His football IQ seems to be through the roof.

The four-star receiver reigns from Westlake Village, Calif., and is teammates with 2018 wide receiver target Nikko Hall at Calabasas. He’s ranked the No. 36 overall recruit in the 2019 class as well as the eighth-best receiver and fifth-best player from California, according to 247Sports.
