Michigan State Basketball: The best of Miles Bridges is yet to come
According to Tom Izzo, we have yet to see the best of Michigan State basketball star Miles Bridges — that’s a scary thought.
Michigan State basketball got one of the biggest boosts of the offseason when Miles Bridges announced his return to the Spartans. He decided to come back because of ‘unfinished business’ and the desire to improve.

You might be thinking, “What else could he possible improve on?” Well, the answer is pretty clear to him and his head coach.
According to Jeremy Warnemuende of 247Sports, Tom Izzo believes that we have yet to see the best basketball from Bridges.
"“We haven’t seen Miles’ best basketball yet in any way, shape or form,” Izzo said. “He wants to improve his ball handling, he told me his defense, his post play, his perimeter shooting. He rattled off a couple I didn’t even have on my list. Miles has his head on straight, and that’s what’s awesome about him.”"
Not many kids can say that they need to come back to improve on defense, post play and perimeter shooting after being pegged as a lottery pick. While his defense and post play do need to improve, perimeter shooting was one of his strong suits.
It’s scary to think that we haven’t seen the best of Miles Bridges just yet and that might start with the defensive side of the ball.
