Michigan State recruiting is putting in work regarding four-star 2017 point guard Blake Harris. Could Miles Bridges be helping as well?

With the final weeks winding down until Michigan State 2017 basketball recruiting class is all sewn up, the Spartans are putting in some last-minute work. In fact, the staff is setting up an official visit with four-star point guard Blake Harris from Chapel Hill, N.C.

Harris is a new name on the Spartans’ radar, but Michigan State could be in good position with him, especially after he makes it to campus on April 13-14.

On Thursday, he released a list of his final five schools. It included Connecticut, N.C. State, Michigan State, Rutgers and Missouri. However, his post on Instagram received an interesting comment from Miles Bridges. Just check out the post below.

Sure, everything is being dissected these days, but this could definitely be a major sign in the return of Bridges as well as the Spartans’ potential chances with Harris. While Harris might not be a take if Mark Smith, a four-star guard from Illinois, commits, the fact that Bridges is talking to him could be a good sign.

Obviously if Miles did decide to return, he’d want his ideal team surrounding him. If he thinks Harris is a good fit and Izzo agreed, the head coach may just give him the green light to help recruit him.

Harris is ranked the No. 85 player in the 2017 class, according to 247Sports. He’s a former Washington commit who was released from his NLI when Lorenzo Romar was fired and his interest in the Spartans is growing.
