Michigan State recruiting is set to receive an official visit from 2017 four-star point guard Blake Harris.

In the market for another guard/wing type of player, Michigan State recruiting has been in contact with four-star point guard Blake Harris. The electrifying athlete from Chapel Hill, N.C., narrowed his list of potential suitors down to four, but will be taking officials in the coming weeks.

Before making his decision, Harris will be visiting Michigan State, which has to be great news for the coaching staff.

Just a couple of days after Tom Izzo visited the four-star point guard at his high school, he is planning to take a trip to East Lansing in a couple of weeks.

Although Connecticut wasn’t named in his final four recently, the Huskies may still have a shot because they hired a former Washington assistant who helped recruit Harris there. He was once committed to the Huskies, but was released from his NLI when Lorenzo Romar was fired.

Michigan State is the latest to join the race for Harris, one of the more explosive guards in the entire class. You can watch just a few seconds of his film before you realize what kind of player he is. While he can handle the ball, he’s also explosive when driving to the basket and he can leap out of the gym.
