Miles Bridges has a big decision to make, but he sees positives in staying and leaving the Michigan State basketball program.

Michigan State basketball is in a rare position. Contrary to most schools, the Spartans have a chance to retain a one-and-done caliber player for his sophomore season. Miles Bridges is still weighing the pros and cons of staying and leaving for the NBA and likely won’t rush a decision.

Fans are encouraged by a potential 2017-18 roster with Bridges present, making the Spartans one of few national title favorites. Don’t worry, though, because Bridges is well aware that his presence would give Michigan State a real chance to win it all.

It’s a win-win situation for the Flint-native. If he leaves for the NBA, he could live out his dream of playing in the league and be a potential lottery pick. If he stays, he could play with some of his best friends and contend for that national title he always wanted.

Fortunately, he has some high-quality people helping him through the process, but in the end, he’s going to make the decision that’s best for him. It’s refreshing to see that he realizes there are positives to both scenarios, though.
