Wing 1: Miles Bridges, Sophomore

Call me crazy, but there’s just something about this kid that screams “one more year.” He loves Michigan State and his relationship with Tom Izzo is on par with that of Draymond Green.

It’s not out of the question just yet. Bridges is going to sit down with his coaches and mother to talk about his future and you know he’s going to make the best decision for him. Izzo said that he would probably advise him to go pro even though Bridges staying would be best for his program. However, if Bridges feels like he wants one more year, that’s what he’s going to do.

As it’s still a toss-up, I’m going to stick with him as a member of next year’s team until it’s official. He would easily be the top player on the roster, again, and would make Michigan State a potential top-10 team, maybe even top-five.

Bridges led the team in scoring this season, averaging 16.9 points and he was also first in rebounds with 8.3 per game. He also averaged 2.1 assists and 1.5 blocks, showing that he could do it all, even though he played out of position all year long.

In fact, there’s talk that he could come back to play his natural wing position instead of at the four, which would likely improve his draft stock and help the Spartans’ 2017-18 hopes in the process.

With Bridges back, this team could be unstoppable.
