Miles Bridges on Josh Jackson: I didn’t come here to see friends
Michigan State star Miles Bridges had some intense words for good friends, and Kansas freshman, Josh Jackson who spurned the Spartans.
Miles Bridges is a gamer. The freshman from Flint, Mich., is one of the biggest superstars in college basketball today, but he doesn’t think about all that. Unlike other potential one-and-dones, Bridges cares more about winning than anything else, including personal accolades.

There’s a reason Tom Izzo calls Bridges a blue-collar superstar. He has a tremendous work ethic and strives to get better every single day. He also hates losing, that much is obvious.
Unfortunately, he has to face off against one of his best friends in the round of 32 Sunday in Josh Jackson of Kansas. Although he wants to see his best friend and witness him do well, he also wants to make sure his freshman season continues while Jackson’s ends early.
That’s the kind of attitude Michigan State fans love to see and hear. The Spartans need a leader throughout the rest of the tournament and it seems like Bridges is taking it upon himself to be that guy. Just imagine what this team would be like if he came back for a sophomore season.
