Michigan State recruiting will be hosting one of the nation’s top wide receivers in four-star Kamryn Babb in the near future.

Just a week after losing the commitment of four-star wide out Joseph Scates, Michigan State recruiting received some good news regarding a potential visitor within the next month or two. Four-star receiver Kamryn Babb from Saint Louis, Mo., is planning to make a return trip to East Lansing soon.

While the article Sean Scherer of 247Sports posted on Twitter is VIP (meaning you have to have a 247Sports subscription to see it), the main info is that Babb will be coming back to Michigan State soon.

Some might argue that he’s the nation’s top wide receiver for 2018, but he’s currently listed as No. 3 by 247Sports and the 22nd-best overall recruit. He’s also the state of Missouri’s No. 1 prospect for 2018.

Another visit from this caliber of receiver is good for a Michigan State football staff that has been heavily criticized for lack of recruiting elite prospects. He has shown enough interest to make a return trip to East Lansing after visiting last June.

The Spartans could use another receiver in their 2018 class after losing Joseph Scates to a recent de-commitment. Babb may not be the same size as Scates (who is 6-foot-3), but the four-star wide out from Missouri stands 6-foot-1 and weighs about 190 pounds, but his speed and athleticism are off the charts.

Mark Dantonio offered the elite recruit back in June before his visit and he’s also received scholarships from the likes of Ohio State, Auburn, Arkansas, Iowa, LSU, Miami, Michigan, Missouri, Nebraska, Northwestern, Notre Dame, Ole Miss, Penn State, Tennessee, Texas, UCLA, USC and Wisconsin, among many others. The Buckeyes seem to be the early favorites.
