The Spartans are looking to improve both the defensive backfield as well as the running back position in the 2018 class. Luckily, Clement can play either one.
Clement projects as either a running back or cornerback at the next level, but after watching his film, he could be a two-way player in college. He has excellent instincts in the defensive backfield and has a feel for where the ball and the receiver are. He’s also an aggressive runner.
As you can see, he’s not patient like a Le’Veon Bell-type, but he has excellent burst and strength to burst through gaps in the defense.
