You probably haven’t heard much about four-star center Malik Williams from Fort Wayne, Ind. Heck, he doesn’t yet have a  picture on his 247Sports profile page, but he’s one of the rising stars in the class who just doesn’t get enough love.

The 6-foot-11, 200-pound big man could be a solid addition to the class which would likely need to add some post talent. Nick Ward is the only big man coming in for the 2016 class and Deyonta Davis was the lone 2015 post player, and he might be gone by the time the 2017 group gets to campus.

With that being said, it’s pretty clear Izzo is trying to get some elite post players to commit to the green and white for 2017 in the case that Davis leaves early and Ward isn’t too far behind him.

Williams is a mammoth of a player and he will become even more valuable the more weight he adds which will translate to strength. He visited East Lansing a week ago for the Wisconsin game, and apparently loved his time on campus.

The big man is ranked the No. 38 player in the class and the sixth-best center, according to 247Sports. He’s received offers from Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Xavier, Cincinnati, Purdue and Michigan State (back in the fall).
