9. Jeremy Langford TD vs. Ohio State in Big Ten title game

Another highlight against the Buckeyes because, well, those really never get old. Before the 2013 Big Ten title game, the Buckeyes had not lost a game under head coach Urban Meyer — winning 24 straight contests under the second-year coach.

The No. 10 Spartans were gigantic underdogs against the No. 2-ranked Buckeyes. Meyer was probably thinking that he would be playing for his first national title since his days with the Florida Gators in his first bowl-eligible season with OSU.

Well, Urban and the rest of the nation were wrong. Michigan State gave the Buckeyes all they could handle and the Spartans came out on top, 34-24. While a huge stop late in the game by the Spartans on Braxton Miller which prevented him from getting a key first down might be the most memorable play on defense of the game, this was the top overall moment.

Everyone knows exactly where they were when this happened and reality struck that MSU would be going to the Rose Bowl for the first time in over two decades.

Note: The run happens around the 17:15 mark.

This 26-yard touchdown run with about two minutes left in the Spartans’ biggest game of the year served as the ultimate dagger to the Buckeyes and that’s when everyone knew that MSU was the real deal and the Buckeyes would be unbeaten no more.
