Leonard Fournette is just too good. The sophomore running back rushed for over 150 yards yet again, racking up 158 and a touchdown on 20 carries, but he wasn’t even the leading rusher for the LSU Tigers on Saturday. The Tigers blew out South Carolina on the legs of Derrius Guice as well — he rushed for 161 yards and a score.

Yes, we moved the Spartans down yet again after another close win over a far inferior team in Rutgers. Michigan State was playing its first true road game outside of the state of Michigan this year and the injury bug followed the Spartans out to New Jersey. Every major position is hampered right now, and that’s playing a huge role in these games. The next man up motto can only work so much. Connor Cook and Aaron Burbridge had their best games of the year.

In all reality, TCU‘s defense is going to end up costing this team a spot in the College Football Playoff. The Horned Frogs are getting lucky that they have one of the best offenses in college football behind Trevone Boykin, but they can only outscore teams so much before they get worn out. Giving up 45 points to a very average Kansas State offense is an abomination.

Nope, Ohio State is no longer our No. 1 team in the rankings. We were forced to move the Buckeyes down after yet another poor performance this week, narrowly defeating the Maryland Terrapins — and you can’t look at the final score to judge how close this game really was. There was really no dominant aspect of the Buckeyes’ performance, but a big fourth quarter sealed the win.

Baylor just keeps scoring, and just keeps winning. Although the Bears played a pitiful Kansas team on Saturday afternoon, scoring 52 points in one half is no joke. This offense behind Seth Russell, Shock Linwood, Corey Coleman and KD Cannon is probably the scariest in the country this year, but just like TCU, the Bears’ defense might ultimately doom them.
