1. Relationship with Cassius Winston, Josh Jackson
You can never truly underestimate the power of good friendships when relating to package deals and playing together at the next level. Cassius Winston and Miles Bridges were AAU teammates over the spring/summer and it seemed like the two have developed a solid bond and had even talked about playing together in college.
Must Read:
According to ZagsBlog, Bridges spoke of the possibility of Winston joining him at the collegiate level back in July:
"Bridges says if he goes to Michigan or Michigan State, “I’ll have [teammate] Cassius [Winston] go with me. but if I go to Kentucky or anywhere else, Cassius won’t go with me.”"
Usually these things aren’t talked about between two guys if playing college basketball together isn’t a priority. They have become good friends and now that Winston has committed to Michigan State, it seems that Bridges may not be far behind.
As for Bridges’ friendship with Josh Jackson, a five-star and another top priority recruit for MSU, those two have wanted to play together as well and some have said they are good friends, too.
A tweet by Bridges back in July when he and Jackson were playing together in summer ball seemed to indicate that the two are unstoppable as teammates.
Just paraphrasing here, but he said something like, “Nobody can stop Josh Jackson and I.”
That could extend to the college level.
