Probably the easiest selection of all, L.J. Scott is one guy who we should all be watching for on Saturday — which shouldn’t be tough because he will be getting a bulk of carries, along with redshirt freshman and starting running back Madre London.

Scott is just a true freshman, which makes his potential to be the next star of the backfield that much more promising. The excitement based around him is real and many are comparing the young back to Le’Veon Bell.

Just how good can Scott be? Well, against the No. 7 team in the nation with a solid defensive line last week, he finished with 76 yards and two touchdowns on 11 carries. Those were the first two touchdowns of his MSU career, and likely the first of many two-touchdown games.

The first-year player earned co-Big Ten Freshman of the Week honors for his performance against Oregon and really shined on the national stage. His 38-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter sealed the win for the Spartans and really let the country see how good he can be.

Watch this kid on Saturday because he could record his first 100-yard game in a Spartan uniform.
