This has to be the commitment that everyone has been long awaiting. Four-star top-100 receiver Donnie Corley has been atop every Michigan State football fan’s wish list for some time and this is the only official visit he currently has planned this fall.

MSU insider Rico Beard has said that Corely’s father is excited to take the trip with him and there’s a possibility the young four-star receiver/defensive back pulls the trigger this weekend and tells Dantonio that he wants to join the elite 2016 class.

Corley will be in the presence of many other MSU commits for the 2016 class such as Cam Chambers, Abdul Adams and Messiah deWeaver, and it will be hard for him to tell those guys ‘no’ as they’ve all developed a solid bond over the summer.

Michigan State might be finishing the 2016 class with one of the best wide receiving corps in the nation and a commitment from Corley could mean ones from Lavert Hill, a four-star Penn State cornerback commit, and Ambry Thomas as well.

Corley has stated before that he’d like to play college ball with Hill despite his current pledge to the Nittany Lions.

This will be the visit that puts Corley over the top with MSU.
