3. KJ Hamler, 4-star 2017 WR

K.J. Hamler is already off to a scorching start to his 2015 season with Orchard Lake St. Mary’s, winning the game MVP in week one and pulling off this beautiful punt return that might be the most talked about high school football play of the year so far:

It’s pretty clear that he’s a dynamic playmaker and a big season St. Mary’s is already 2-0 to begin the young season and looking for another state title.

Hamler, a four-star receiver, is considered one of the top wide outs in the class of 2017 and Michigan State looks to be in very good position to land him. He may not want to decide until the end of the 2015 season, but a great visit this weekend could change that.

One thing you always hear from recruits about their visits to Michigan State is that it feels like home. Imagine home being 75,000 fans screaming your name and playing under the lights at Spartan Stadium against some of the best competition in college football — that’s exactly what Hamler will be seeing on Saturday.

Don’t be surprised if you see the 2017 class grow a little bit after Oregon weekend as Hamler might become the second four-star receiver to join the group.
