1. Sept. 12 will be remembered for a while

Every day, we hear of more and more top recruits visiting for the Sept. 12 game against Oregon — and the list isn’t even close to being filled. Guys like four-star cornerback Jamyest Williams, four-star offensive tackle E.J. Price, four-star receiver JaVonte Richardson and a handful of others will be on hand.

The names mentioned above are just a small portion of what will actually be there. It’s almost unbelievable how much talent will be present when the Spartans exact revenge on the Ducks under the lights in the biggest non-conference game of the year.

With that being said, it’s likely that there will be more than one commitment that weekend. In fact, there could be five-plus for all we know right now. With dozens of elite recruits coming to campus, anything is possible.

Sept. 12 will be remembered by MSU fans as the biggest recruiting weekend in the history of the program because of a handful of commitments, including some high-level recruits pledging their verbals to Michigan State.

Don’t be shocked if the Spartans walk away from that game with a big-time victory over Oregon and more than five pledges in their pocket for the 2016 and 2017 classes.
