2. Donnie Corley commits

This has been the most anticipated commitment that I can remember outside of Malik McDowell a year and a half ago. Donnie Corley is coveted by the Spartans and they have been named the front-runner to land the four-star wide out for quite some time now.

Corley is considered one of the top players in Michigan for the 2016 class and he has narrowed his list down to about six or seven schools, with Michigan State included at the top.

Right now, his only scheduled official visit is to East Lansing for the Oregon game on Sept. 12 and that might just be enough to sway him to commit to MSU. Coming to town with 2017 four-star cornerback teammate Ambry Thomas, who I thought would have committed already, will open his eyes to what MSU is all about: winning and molding young men.

If Coach Dantonio wants you, he will let you know and he won’t stop until he gets you. Corley may already know that his mind is made up and that Sept. 12 is the day if he hasn’t schedule any more officials during his senior year yet.

September is the month we finally get a commitment from the top-100 receiver from Detroit King.
