5. Four-star WR K.J. Hamler commits

Four-star wide receiver K.J. Hamler is one of the top recruits in the 2017 class and the Orchard Lake St. Mary’s (Mich.) standout will be keeping in close contact with the Michigan State coaching staff throughout the 2015 season.

Hamler had a great week one performance for his high school team, winning the game MVP after catching five passes for 60 yards and making four tackles on the other side of the ball to go along with a pass deflection.

There may not be a better high school junior in the state — or at least it’s close — but Hamler is very high on the Spartans and September could be the month he commits to the green and white.

K.J. is visiting Michigan State for the Oregon game on September 12 and that might be enough to help him make a decision about his college career. He has said that he wants to wait until after his junior season to decide, but it could happen at any time.

Expect him to love his visit on the 12th and make a decision shortly thereafter. Michigan State will have two four-star receivers to start the 2017 class — not too shabby.
