Michigan State Recruiting: Top 2017 football targets to watch

Along with a rich tradition at the running back position, Dantonio has ensured that his quarterbacks all get a shot to play at the next level. Four-star pro-style quarterback Kasim Hill could be the next to join that group.
Michigan State has been recruiting the DMV area — D.C., Maryland and Virginia — strongly in the past couple of years and it has been paying off. For the class of 2017, the Spartans could lure some of the top talent in the nation and most of it happens to be from the East Coast.
Hill could end up being the third-straight highly-touted quarterback to join the Spartans in three years and the fourth in five years as Michigan State didn’t recruit one for the 2014 class.
Imagine seeing Connor Cook win the Heisman this year, Brian Lewerke play well enough to make the NFL after his junior season in three years, Messiah deWeaver take over and lead the team to a national title and then have all that followed up by the talented Kasim Hill.
Michigan State may be in very good hands for the foreseeable future and the quarterback position just happens to be the most important on the field.
Also, a commitment from Hill could help lure other guys from the DMV area to MSU — the others may even be on this list.
