Yet another kid from Orchard Lake St. Mary’s on the list — the second in a row. The newly-appointed four-star wide receiver has shown serious interest in the Spartans and could be the next rising star to join the class of 2017.

Hamler, as I just mentioned, has just been granted with a fourth star by every major recruiting service and he’s grinding it out this summer in order to have his name recognized even more. Talk about a kid who is earning everything with toughness and hard work, Hamler has seen his name rise exponentially in the past few months.

K.J. has gone from quiet killer on the football field to a kid who is seemingly on every major college’s radar. He is quick off the line and make short routes look simple while the deep ball is almost always his. I like to think he reminds me a little bit of Percy Harvin.

If Hamler commits to Michigan State, expect him to try and bring the aforementioned Josh Ross with him.

He could mark the second four-star wide receiver commit for the class and the fifth one in the 2016 and 2017 groups combined — and that’s not even counting a possible Donnie Corley commit.
