Noticing a bit of a trend? If you haven’t realized it by now, there are nothing but big men so far mentioned on this list and that is for a reason. The Spartans will be losing Matt Costello, Gavin Schilling, Marvin Clark will be a senior and Deyonta Davis a junior by the time the 2017 campaign rolls around.

Michigan State will be in dire need of some big men in the near future and why not spend time trying to lure some of the nation’s top prospects at the positions of center and power forward?

Tillman, a four-star power forward from Grand Rapids, has been high on Izzo’s list for quite some time and it seems like the Spartans will have to fight Michigan and Kentucky in order to land the in-state talent.

Many believe he is a Michigan-lean right now, but the Spartans are making moves and the Wildcats’ recent offer of the 6-foot-8, 230-pound power forward from Forest Hills Central has gotten his attention.

Xavier would fit right in because he is a big, strong power forward who likes to create his own shot in the post and even use his aggressiveness to make room. He seems like the perfect Izzo guy to put in the post, feed him the ball and watch him work.

Zach Randolph 2.0?
