No, Mohamed Bamba does not have an offer from the Spartans, but he seems to be a guy that is one the radar, just ask current MSU star Denzel Valentine who gave the 6-foot-10, 185-pound high school junior a shoutout on Instagram. He claimed that Bamba could be a future Spartan and that MSU fans should follow him immediately.

This is definitely a name to keep a close watch for as you will definitely be hearing more of it in the next year. Bamba is from Pennsylvania, so he’s in prime Big Ten territory and the Spartans have been recruiting in the east well in football lately, why not make it a successful stomping ground in basketball, too?

After missing out on Paschal Chukwu, likely by choice, for one of the final two scholarship spots left, the Spartans will need to add another big guy in the coming years as it looks like the 2016 class will focus on a small forward (Bridges) and a point guard (Winston).

Ward is a big guy, but if Bamba keeps growing, which we hope he does, he could be a dominant big for the Spartans — if and when he receives an offer.

I mean, who wouldn’t want a guy with a 7-foot-8 wingspan?
