1. Donnie Corley commits at The Opening

Last, but certainly not least, Donnie Corley will commit to Michigan State at The Opening between July 7-10 in Oregon. People have been speculating about a possible decision by that time, but I feel that he has already made up his mind and if he does announce at The Opening, it will be good news for the Spartans.

Corley has stated that if he doesn’t make a decision at the even for the top high school recruits in the nation, then he wants his parents to join him in trips to Tennessee and Ohio State, his other top two teams, before making a final choice by the end of summer.

The 102nd-best player in the country, according to 247Sports, has even stated that he is kind of wanting the process to be over and that he feels like he has a good idea of where he wants to be — if that weren’t the case he wouldn’t potentially be deciding in a couple of days.

As stated earlier, Corley and Lavert Hill have planned on playing college football together since they were kids and the only possible place that it could happen, or so it seems, is Michigan State. The Spartans are recruiting Corley as a two-way player and he could be playing the opposite corner of Hill in a couple of years if both pick the Green & White.

This one isn’t a matter of ‘if’ but ‘when’ Corley commits and I believe it will be at The Opening.
