5. Delton Williams reinstated

To be fair, I had this list set up before the news of Delton Williams’ possible reinstatement to the team was released by Mike Griffith of MLive. Griffith believes that the junior running back will be added to the roster before the beginning of the season with a possible suspension or maybe even having to earn his scholarship back.

The report reads:

"“Tailback Delton Williams is expected to return to the Michigan State football team, according to multiple sources with knowledge of the situation. Williams, a rising junior from Erie, Pennsylvania, could rejoin the team as early as this month in the Spartans’ voluntary summer workouts, barring any unforeseen developments. Williams could face a multi-game suspension  — that may or may not ultimately result in him redshirting —  and he will not immediately be reinstated to scholarship status.”"

Michigan State’s running back battle could end up being more heated than once anticipated as Williams could join the conversation as the most veteran back with the most to prove. People have already handed the job to Larry Scott and Madre London, but Williams will have something to say about that when he is reinstated this month — in my opinion.

Don’t be surprised if this happens soon as Williams has even leaked some hints into his reinstatement during the past month.
