According to reports, Michigan State recruiting will miss on five-star small forward Brian Bowen as he’s enrolled at Louisville already.

The biggest fish left in the 2017 recruiting class has reportedly picked his home for next season as five-star small forward Brian Bowen looks to be headed to Louisville.

Although it’s just speculation right now, it seems like Bowen is leaning toward the Cardinals after his visit to Louisville over the weekend. On top of that, he’s reportedly enrolled at Louisville for summer classes, according to Jeff Greer of the Courier-Journal.

"U of L’s registrar’s office, through a school spokesman, said Bowen’s status changed from application to matriculation and that he enrolled in classes for the summer term."

This could just be a precautionary measure taken by Bowen’s party to ensure he has a spot at Louisville in the fall just in case he picks the Cardinals, but all signs are pointing to it being the nail in his recruitment’s coffin. His selection of Louisville seems to be all but publicly announced.

Moreover, Bowen announced via Twitter on Thursday that his decision date will be this Saturday at 4 p.m. ET. The wait is finally about to be over and the momentum has gone from Michigan State to Arizona to Creighton to Texas to DePaul to Oregon and now Louisville.
