Which elite Michigan State recruiting targets will be attending Saturday’s spring game?

Everyone has been asking which elite recruits will be on campus Saturday, and there’s the perfect list of 10 big names that the Spartans could be major players for in the next year or two.

Mark Dantonio has done a great job of assembling some of the nation’s top players into a class, like he did with the 2016 group that really didn’t receive enough credit for being one of the best in the Big Ten. The class ranked in the top 25 and had more four-star prospects than the previous few years combined.

Could he continue that momentum into the 2017 group and add some elite four-stars and even maybe a five-star recruit? It’s very possible, but he still has a lot of work to do.

Right now, the 2017 class stands at six commits: Hunter Rison, Kevin Jarvis, Rocky Lombardi, Cody White, Jack Camper and, most recently, Matt Carrick. That list looks to grow this weekend with dozens of targets on campus.

This list of elite prospects, however, isn’t limited to the 2017 class. There are a few 2018 targets sprinkled in there.

Let’s take a look at 10 big names who’ll be at the spring game this weekend.

Back in February, the Spartans offered this four-star offensive guard from the 2018 class, but Emil Ekiyor, who has been on unofficial visits to Alabama and Michigan over the past few weeks, will be at the spring game this weekend. He will take in East Lansing with a teammate of his who happens to also be on this list.

Ekiyor happens to be one of the best guards in the 2018 class as the sophomore ranks fifth-best at his position and No. 125 overall, according to 247Sports.

Michigan State could afford to add some offensive line depth over the next couple of years with the departures of Jack Allen, Jack Conklin and Donavon Clark this season and Kodi Kieler next.

The 6-foot-3, 350-pound sophomore holds offers from Michigan, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Auburn, Florida State, Georgia, Ole Miss, Penn State and Texas A&M, among many others.
