I don't know about you, but watching the brothers of Michigan State basketball players excel has been fun over the years and I'm only a little bit salty about losing them to other programs.

One of the most productive brothers of a Spartan hoops player has been freshman phenom Jeremiah Fears. The Oklahoma freshman has had an incredible start to the 2024-25 season and he helped lead the Sooners to an 11-0 start with him being the hero in the latest win.

Jeremiah's Sooners faced a familiar foe for all Michigan State fans on Wednesday night as Michigan and Oklahoma squared off in Charlotte.

Down three with just under 15 seconds left, Fears took a pass, found a small opening and launched a three only to get fouled by Michigan's Roddy Gayle Jr. The basket went in. The crowd went insane.

The four-point play was the difference in the game as Michigan failed to go down on the other end and scored with 11.5 remaining on the clock and Fears came away as the hero.

This wasn't his only great play of the night, however. He actually scored a game-high 30 points on 8-of-12 shooting and he had four assists and three rebounds to go along with it. He's been looking like one of the best freshmen in college basketball and he should still be a high school senior right now which makes this all the more incredible.

Jeremy was proud of his little brother, posting this right after the win over the Wolverines.

What I would give to see these two guys on the same team in East Lansing next year. The likelihood of that is low because it seems as if Jeremiah will be a lottery pick in the NBA draft.
