3. New Orleans Saints
If there's one team in the NFL this season outside of the Detroit Lions that has probably been affected most by key injuries, it's the New Orleans Saints.
Derek Carr was supposed to be the answer at quarterback, but he's struggled to stay healthy despite playing well when he has been good to go and there's a chance the organization could move on from him because of these injury issues at his age.
Kirk Cousins may not be an ideal fit, by any means, but he would be a nice one-year rental for the Saints before they look for their franchise quarterback. Heck, they might draft their franchise quarterback in the 2025 NFL Draft but they would still need a veteran to be that holdover for one season while the young guy learns the offense and the league.
I like the Saints' roster a lot and I think the future is bright with the right quarterback running the show and there's a better chance that it's Cousins rather than Jake Haener or Spencer Rattler in 2025 if Carr moves on.
An offense with intriguing pieces like Alvin Kamara (if he still has some left in the tank -- it looks like he does), Taysom Hill, Kendre Miller, Chris Olave, and Rashid Shaheed could get Cousins' career back on track before his looming retirement.
