Michigan State basketball is still dancing. One weekend of the NCAA Tournament is in the books and the Spartans are moving on to the Sweet 16 after beating Bryant and New Mexico.
While the two wins weren't overly impressive, you have to feel good if you're Tom Izzo because the Spartans keep winning despite not playing all that well. They beat Bryant by 25 despite a shaky start and then covered against New Mexico despite being down 10 early on and fighting back and forth in the second half.
The Spartans are now heading to the Sweet 16 for the second time in three years and for the 16th time under Izzo, getting a date with Chris Beard and Ole Miss.
The similarities between this year's run and 2019 are eerie, especially because Izzo beat Richard Pitino in the second round and faced Beard eventually. Let's hope there's a different result this time.
What's the date and time for Michigan State's battle with Ole Miss?
