Deserved.

The Tre Holloman Fan Club (trademark pending) is growing by the day and it added thousands of new members on Sunday afternoon.

Michigan State was gearing up to let its seniors kiss the Spartan logo at halfcourt and a couple of Michigan players (Phat Phat Brooks and LJ Cason, to be exact) took exception to it. They didn't seem to like the move by Michigan State, stopping play during Michigan free throws to kiss midcourt so they stood in the way.

Cason and Brooks were asked to move by Jaden Akins and Holloman, but the requests were ignored and they remained in the middle of the logo.

Holloman took exception to it, walked up to the two freshmen and shoved Cason.

This led to a scuffle but it was quickly broken by up the refs and even Dusty May ran into it to get his players to back away before it got out of hand. Still, Holloman was heated on the sideline and Tom Izzo made sure to calm him down. Surprisingly, he wasn't mad at his junior guard for the gesture.

After the game, Izzo went a step further and allowed Holloman to kiss midcourt for standing up for the tradition of letting the seniors kiss the Spartan logo.

Talk about well-deserved. Not many players embody that "old school" attitude where he's not going to stand down to anyone. He doesn't take disrespect and we've seen that over the past couple of years against Purdue (Zach Edey, to be exact) and on Thursday against Iowa.

Tre's Senior Day is going to be special next year.
