Two former Michigan State receivers were on the Seattle Seahawks' preseason roster, but only one still has a chance to make the final round of cuts.

According to Seattle Sports, there's a realistic chance that White makes the Seahawks' roster.

Brock Huard, a former NFL quarterback and current analyst, said that he has done enough to make the roster, even though Seattle didn't really have many roster spots left for receivers.

"I think Cody White gave himself a chance to make this football team. Cody White last year, when given opportunities, just really seized them on special teams. He’s been unbelievably competent. We have watched him be available all offseason long through the OTAs and the training camps."

In case you missed it over the weekend, White was the Seahawks' highest-graded player against the Green Bay Packers in what turned out to be a 20-7 loss. He still hauled in three catches for 69 yards and a touchdown, and he returned a punt 35 yards to give the Seahawks great field position.

White is 26 years old and hasn't really caught on with an NFL team to this point in his career, but this may be the best football he has played at this level since joining the league.

When White was at Michigan State, he was known for being one of the most sure-handed receivers in the Big Ten, and the duo of him and Felton Davis III was fun to watch. He's now showing some of that sure-handedness with the Seahawks.

Seattle had Montorie Foster Jr. on the preseason roster before a first round of cuts, and it also fields Kenneth Walker III. Is this East Lansing West?

We'll find out soon if White has made the 53-man roster, forcing the staff's hand.
