Through four games, Kenneth Walker III is fourth in the NFL in rushing yards. Sure, the rest of the league still has to play its Week 4 games, but the former Michigan State star has been playing really well this season, averaging 4.2 yards per carry.
On Thursday night, Walker carried 19 times for 81 yards, which didn't seem all that impressive, but he was averaging over 6.0 yards per carry at one point before late handoffs just to kill the clock.
Walker's 19 carries are a season-high, but Seahawks fans still aren't pleased with how he's being used. He did account for over 100 all-purpose yards for the second time this season, but he played just 53 percent of offensive snaps. Unfortunately, this is just the second time this season that he's played at least 50 percent of offensive snaps.
Which isn't good enough, per some fans and NFL experts.
I'm not sure there has ever been a bigger disconnect between how internet users view a player and how coaches view a player than 2025 Kenneth Walker III

+ 52% snap rate (season-high)
+ 61% RB rush share (season-high)
Zach Charbonnet was on the field for 7 of 9 red zone snaps and all four snaps from inside the 10
This was just the consensus opinion on Thursday night as Walker's touchdowns were vultured by backup running back Zach Charbonnet who had 12 carries for 39 yards and two scores. Walker was moving the ball down the field with chunk plays, and then Mike Macdonald and Klunt Kubiak opted to give the ball to Charbonnet on the goal line for easy scores.
Whether you're a Seahawks fan or a disgruntled fantasy football owner, or a Spartan fan, seeing Walker continue to split carries despite being the obviously better back is infuriating.
Although his workload continues to increase every week, Charbonnet is getting some opportunities that should be going to Walker. The only reason he scored two touchdowns a week ago was because the staff couldn't bring themselves to give the ball to George Holani with Charbonnet sidelined.
Give this man his carries.
