3. Chiles touchdown to Jaron Glover

Chiles 34-yard touchdown pass to Jaron Glover midway through the second quarter might be flying under most of your radars, but this play was as big as any against Maryland.

Before this throw Chiles was unable to connect on any pass that even resembled a deep ball, but that changed in a hurry with this perfect ball to Glover.

Not only did this give Chiles the confidence that we saw him exude later in the game when he connected on more deep balls, but this touchdown also helped keep pace with Maryland early in the game.

The Spartans were also way behind the chains in a second-and-23 and most were just hoping they’d be able to come away with a field goal on this drive. Those hopes quickly turned into excitement as you could see Glover at the top of your screen sprint past the defender, and when you saw Chiles release the ball you just knew it was going to find Glover in stride.
