8. Xavier Booker

Xavier Booker is another player Michigan State needs to take a big step this offseason. Nobody on the roster has the abilities that Booker does, so MSU needs him on the court as much as possible this season.

His offensive game has never been the thing that’s kept him off the court, and he showed why throughout Moneyball. Booker averaged 24 points per game as well as 3.3 three-pointers as well. This included one game that saw him hit a shocking seven 3-pointers.

It was nice seeing Booker’s talents on offense haven’t gone anywhere, so now how did he look physically? His frame and strength were some of the things that kept him off the court last year, but that doesn’t seem to be an issue anymore. According to Chris Solari of the Detroit Free Press, Booker has already increased his weight to 242 pounds this offseason. That is a massive improvement from last season.

So combine that with a solid improvement on defense and Booker has the potential to be an All-Big Ten player this season.
