Recapping all 13 Michigan State basketball players’ performances at Moneyball

Moneyball is officially over. While that is a sad thing because it usually means that we have to wait until the regular season to see our favorite Michigan State basketball players play again, this year it means we’ve got a fun overseas trip coming soon.

But before we turn our attention to the Spartans' trip to Spain in mid-August, let’s first look back on the performances we saw at Moneyball this year.

Typically Moneyball is more of an event to watch for fun without many actual things to takeaway from the games. This year however is different. With many new faces to the program along with returning players seeing an increased role next year, their development this offseason is extremely critical. So Moneyball this year for me was crucial to see who has improved the most and how the new players to the program will fit in.

And the team did not disappoint.

It seems like all 13 Michigan State players made a meaningful impact at some point this summer and showed how they can be an asset to the team this season. So let’s break down all 13 players’ performances at Moneyball and what it could mean for the upcoming season.
