Shooting Guard

Unlike the point guard position, this will be the position that will have the least debate about who the starter and main guy will be. This position has been locked down by Jaden Akins for quite some time now, and he won't be going anywhere this season.

The last two years Akins has played about 28 minutes per game, but I think he will play a little more than that this season. He also will be one of the featured players on the team and will be counted on to do more than he has in the past. So I'm predicting he will get 30 minutes per game as the Spartans starting shooting guard.

For the remaining 10 minutes, I think two guys will split them. Holloman will get a majority of them, so let's go with seven to bring him to a grand total of 19 minutes per game this season. The final three minutes will go to incoming freshman Kur Teng who will provide a nice spark off the bench this year from behind the 3-point line.
