Right Tackle: Ashton Lepo

The offensive line is probably the most difficult for me to project. It’s been one of the worst units for Michigan State the past couple years, and with some new faces to the line it’s hard to know who’s going to stand out.

But I’m going to do my best.

Starting at right tackle, I’m going with Ashton Lepo. The former three-star recruit is entering his redshirt sophomore season after seeing his first action last season.

During his freshman season, Lepo appeared in all 12 games, recording 96 total snaps. However, a vast majority (73) of those snaps came in the final four games, which tells me he really improved as the season went on.

Now with a full offseason under his belt with Jonathan Smith and his staff, I think Lepo could be in for a solid year as a first time starter at one of the most important positions on the line.
